A Piper Cub, possibly towing a banner, has crash landed into Great Kills land fill. The pilot seems to be okay.

well there is a saying that the piper cub is the safest airplane on the planet. it can just barely kill you....

They must have received a general call about a plane down because I was on my way home from NJ and saw literally 30 firetrucks & police cars responding to the scene around 12:30.

Looks like the pilot did a good job.
