So as the snow is coming down I'm partaking in a few glasses thus far of Bombay Sapphire, Sapphire Collins to be exact (which according to Phil, I've ruined). Anyway I was never a huge fan of Gin but on my last trip to Cali my firend took out a bottle of Sapphire and well...I'm hooked. I'm sure many of us stuck inside this weekend as the snow falls will be enjoying a drink or two or five ;) So what's some of your favorite libations.. and please lets talk the hard stuff not beer.

For me...its the following.

You know, for years, I have been very big on gin. A well chosen gin stands best on its own, without any accents such as tonic, lemon, etc.

That said, Bombay Sapphire and Tangueray no. 10 are my two favorites.

But since flying on Concorde and imbibing johnny Walker Blue, my Haitian heritage kicked in. Haitians are BIG on scotch and Whiskey. It appears I am still finding my brand of choice.

Grey Goose and pineapple. Yeah, fruity, but I have no shame.

A good Caribbean rum works for me.
Second favorite would be Stoli & cranberry juice.

What is it?
oops... the literal translation is "drinkable honey." it's honey mixed with alcohol and fermented.
