Looks like the pubic option is off the table and the Dems are becoming even more divided amongst themselves. The Public option would have been a death sentence to quality health care in this country.

"We need to have some competition for the insurance industry to keep rates down and save taxpayer dollars," Feingold said. "I will base my vote on the bill on the entirety of what is in the bill, and whether I think the bill is good for Wisconsin."

Then allow people to purchase insurance across state lines, the more the government gets involved with healthcare, the more problems they create.

Medicare is already underfunded already, so, they are going to make $400 billion in cuts & then allow people to join at an earlier age, only the government can do something like that.

Reid is still being very secretive and kind of saying it's not totally out of the bill. Sounds like it's going to be a public option run by a private company but with the government watchdoggin it. I don't think anybody knows what is in this bill beside him and his 9 droogs who have been anything but partisan but something has to give because they don't have the votes with the true public option. This is getting insane.
