Apparently the 767-200ER is certifyed for Slats only configuration on departures which I was not aware of. I will admit I have very limited experince in recent times flying on the 762ER but I for some reason thought that is was not approved. I have only flown on US's 762's a few times and previous to that I was pretty young flying on TWA's 762's. I always knew that the A300-600B4 could do it as I flew on an AA A300 from MIA to MCO once and our departure was slats only but I found this interesting. Can the 763 also perform this or no?

the 767-200 & 757-200 as well as the 737 can do flap 1 takeoff. I cant say the same with any certainty for the 767-300 and 757-300 as the higher deck angle of a flap 1 takeoff would increase the likelyhood of a tailstrike.

I am suprised that the 737-400 would be able to do this without a tailstrike risk. I am not suprised the 757-200 can do that though even though I cannot recall ever experincing it in my 50 or so trips on the 757-200 and having worked at least 4 or 5 757's with US and 20 or so for Continental in Sarasota before they pulled out of SRQ.
