Yes that's an ex NAA aircraft that got repainted at Miami into Air Italy colors about 3 weeks ago. Interesting that it went to JFK, perhaps it'll fly for another airline.

Peter is still at JFK. When its leaving idk but you still have shots. On another note there was a saudi 747 that came over to hanger 2 behind peter tonight. Not sure which version but it looked liked a 747-200. I think the engines were JT9-Q. BTW keep a close eye out cause AA has one of their 757's painted in one world colors now. Also Delta still has a 757 painted in its old colors without winglets. I've seen both of them but was unable to capture. I saw the one world 757 3 weeks ago and the delta 757 a month 1/2 ago. keep your eyes peeled. The old delta colors wont be on that 757 for long.

We had an Iraqi 747 come over to hanger one today. On another note we have had a BA 747 sitting at building 66 the last few days. When i was working the port came over and started looking at engines 1 and 2 on it. My guess is its AOG and something happened. I dont have many details. When I get more I will inform. 2 more notes the French A380 was back today after a week of MIA and keep an eye out for the one world 757 that AA has. I believe it is. I'm not exactly sure since I dont work for Delta and I dont have any dources. But I do believe it is the last. If there were more we would see them at JFK more frequently since they send in alot of 757.

Argh. always on my days off. I dont mind heading over every now and then on my days off to shoot but I dont have the high tech stuff you guys got and its 30min drive over to JFK without traffic. I'm pretty confined till I can find something that can use a long range lense. Also on a sad note Open Skies doesnt fly into JFK anymore. It now flies into EWR. Also Iberia is cutting back as well. The early flight IB6251 isnt comming is as often. Its not comming in 11 days in January which with this combo they cut my crew's hours on the days Ibera isnt on to 7 hrs a day instead of 8. Yippy. If anybody can get me a job with Delta or AA would be highly appreciated.

Its a hit or miss. It depends on what they decide to send in. I'm waiting for the 707 to come back. I really want that. It wont be flying forever. How old is it now? like over 60? You can only revert so many times before the actual frame decides its had it.

Also Yes N88ZL is at OPF now. Seen just a handful of days ago. I was told it looks like its might get repainted.

I wouldn't be surprised its in OPF getting getting repainted because maint. is usually done by Commercial Jet in MIA. It might have been once or twice since, but last time I saw it at OPF was in 2005. A new colorscheme would be great (anything but dark blue please!)

Yes N88ZL hits JFK around that amount and EWR a few times as well. You can usually count on seeing it during the UNGA and then the week around Christmas.

The SVA SP rarely visits JFK. In 2009 it hit JFK a few times witch is very unusual in the couple of years I have been in NY. the SP can hit EWR several times a year.

Wunala is not due in today. Don't assume that it comes in every other day. I don't think you should post that Wunala is coming when it is not. You could be disappointing a lot of people who travel some distance to shoot it based on your post. Please Verify your info before posting.

NLovis - It might be worth knowing/posting this sort of thing, but this particular thread is really meant to give the community a "heads up" if something out of the ordinary/(therefore possibly interesting to some) is *inbound*. The idea being there might be some time for someone to go out and see it or shoot it. In other words daily speculation of whether Wanala might show up and what already came in, probably should be posted elsewhere.

If it isnt raining out there will be 2 Quntas flights today since yesterdays never made it to JFK. The flight is comming in I would say from 1130-1400 registered as VH-OJE. A -400RR. As for the regular time slot Wunala????
