We have a demo (http://casper.frontier.nl/) up and running with live traffic for Schiphol Airport (the Netherlands). If there is any interest in versions for US airports please contact me at [email protected] if

a) you live within a few miles of a large-ish airport
b) you are willing to put a small antenna on your roof
c) you have reliable DSL/cable Internet access

or if you simply want more info.

as with the live atc offer from a few months ago i would love to help, but sadly live too far from LGA to get good feeds. keep in mind there are many, many companies that offer this type of service here in the states so you may be trying to enter an overly-saturated business environment.

Thanks for the warning, however I haven't been able to find any "cool" free ADS-B flight trackers. Pointers are greatly appreciated!

define "cool." what are you looking to offer? i'm not certain on the legalities of live tracking here in the states. most of the free sites delay the info a few minutes for security reasons.

aside from that the only other advice i can give is keep it simple. what i do like is being able to input the airline code and flight number, when i know them; or being able to search by airport pairs, or just single airport departres/arrivals, for when i don't know the proper info.

Click HERE (http://casper.frontier.nl) for a demo. Yesterday we had 30.000 visitors, so it can't be all bad. :-)

We are adding features as we speak so feel free to make suggestions.

The FAA delays the data that's provided to the websites. I don't think there's any actual prohibition on going out and getting the data yourself.
