N83PD and KALB 10/17/09

Got a chance to fly out of KALB. There's nothing like taking off or landing on a runway that's wide and long enough for Air Force One in a Cessna or taxiing past a Southwest 737 with passengers gawking out the window wondering why a chunk of aluminum with a fan attached gets to depart before they do.

Great shots! Looks like it was a great day for flying!

In the downtown shot, my office is in the bottom right of the shot - last building fully in the frame. Cool!

Funny thing though, on Saturday I was on Long Island so I didn't take any pictures of you.

Yeah, the weather was gorgeous that day.

I'm located about 5 miles from KALB, but unfortunately the SLR is at home. As evident above, I had to resort to the P+S. However, I'm happy that it didn't fail to deliver.

Still, I can't wait to get out there.
