Here in NY looks like we're going to get a ton of rain from Thursday through Sunday. Ugh.

Interestingly, it will be cold enough for the rain to change to snow in some places not too far away, i.e. the hills and mountains of northeast and central PA and northwest NJ. It may be cold enough for a couple of inches of wet snow to stick in some spots, hence the Winter Storm Watch for central PA. Could wreak havoc on utility poles, because snow falling on trees that are still covered with leaves are more likely to bend and break than bare winter trees.

There's also a coastal flood watch due to high seas expected to bang against LI.

Glad I went out to PA this past weekend and not this one coming. Sunday night the temps were in the low 30s, and Monday night, when we had some light showers, they said some higher elevations might see a few snow flakes.

Its two Nor'Easters in-fact, one coming in tomorrow night into Friday and then another one Sat night into Sun. Last time we had Nor'Easters this early and frequent it was a very nasty winter. Maybe this year I can use my snow thrower finally.

Moose I am actually waiting for those Canes so I can do some Chasing. Will be moving to the PBI area next April so I will be closer to target zero. GO FIGURE. Give me planes and Canes and I am happy.

AccuWeather.com said this is going to be a cold & snowy winter for us in the Northeast.

We haven't had much rain out here today at all but the flooding is really really bad down by the water all the streets are under 2 feet of water. Beaches are def going to take a beating.
