Greetings,
Stopped by McGGGGuire to get the USAF Special Operations Forces (SOF) 757-200/C-32 02-4452. The highlight was the unexpected Turkish Air Force C-130. I was very lucky to get there in time as it already had 2 engines running.
Been several years since I have seen a LYC C-130.

Senga,

Great shots! I've been trying to get to do some runway-side stuff from there but my friend, who is a KC-10 pilot there, is ALWAYS on a trip somewhere.

Does the 108th still have the all-white C-135B or has that C-32 replaced it?

Oh, and it's McGuire. No Q.

I don't think they've had the C135B for quite some time. The whitejet 75s have been here for at least 3 years, probably more....

Dagnabit, I did it again. I guess that's what happens when I wake up at 3am and the next thing I find myself going is editing images and posting and then going back to sleep. I know its Mcguire. Sometimes I inadvertently put a Q in there if I am not paying attention.

That is true they retired the C-135 a few years back. By the time I learned it was based occasionally based at KWRI It was too late for me as it had been retired from service. I did get the speckled Trout though. It had a different mission though. Out of the 2 I am glad I got the better one.

I wish they would put some markings on that C-32. I knew what it looked like before I shot it but that was a lot of work for so little plane.

It has been a while since I shot at KWRI....The hardest thing there is keeping yourself from unknowingly driving onto an active taxiway or active ramp.

As for the C-32, if it's SpecOps, it's pretty understandable why it would not have titles.

Yea but the C-135 one had them... US of A title and then a black cheatline. But I guess we are in a different climate now so yea.

Thanks jerslice...
Another one for the collection.
