The people of Honduras are doing the right thing. This guy violated their Constitution and tried to enact Socialist laws similar to Venezuela. What sickens me is our President isn't standing behind the people of Honduras that want to protect their Constitutional freedom, instead he supporting this Chavez style socialist.

The biggest problem was his attempt to unconstitutionally extend his term, combined with the fact that there is no legal procedure in place for impeaching the president. It is a little disturbing that Obama sides with Chavez and Castro on this issue, but whether a violent coup was needed to remove him is arguable. The guy was widely disliked and would have been forced out one way or the other. Having god knows who in the military running the country isn't necessarily an improvement.

If one positive thing that has come out of this mess, I think a lot of people have now learned how to properly pronounce Tegucigalpa!

Hey, yeah, thats right.. we don't support "regime change"...like this..

Gen. Prosper Avril, Alberto Fujimori, Gen Musharrof all supposed to play by our rules under totally impossible circumstances.....

What a shame..
