Flight 1256 from Miami hit a bird on runway 22 approach...landed safely but had to be towed to the gate.

Nope, they are going to fine the pilot for hurting the wildlife.

I dont see why they have to kill them. Cant they figure out a way to send them somewhere else?

Like a TFR around the airport.... The birds routinely break class B airspace restrictions, do you think they are going to care about a TFR?

I saw that flight come in, as I left my house, I didnt have my camera out. But im glad no one got hurt..
