I was surprised to see a Jet Airways aircraft taxying at JFK on Tuesday. I thought they were from India.

Jet Airways has been operating for sometime at JFK.

Jet Airways has been operating at JFK for a few years already.

You can also find them accross the Hudson at EWR also, and also for several years now. Jet was even flying the 777-300ER to EWR, but now back to an A-330-200.
