Finally, a good Star Trek & seeing it at the IMAX, brings the movie to life.

Enjoyed how they introduced the characters, the little tweaks to the story, we tolerable.

The only complaint was the person holding the camera, STOP MOVING! It was not as bad as Cloverfield, but close.

Seeing it on the big screen is recommended! :borat:

I'm going to tomorrow night with a few friends to see it on the IMAX screen. Certainly looks much better then the older movies which were sort of bland.

Moveis one through 6 were great with the old crew, best of those being

2, 3, and 6.

6 was simply elegant.

Can't wait to see the newest....maybe in the threater but most likely on Blu Ray

I saw it Saturday night and enjoyed it. Wasn't the best one they did, 6 was far better then this one. We saw it on the IMAX screen which I don't think was a true IMAX screen so it wasn't worth the 16 bucks IMO. Good flix but not blockbuster by any means.

Just read about this.

IMAX and AMC and Regal theaters are basically scamming people with a product called "IMAX Digital", using the IMAX name to make people think they're getting a giant screen, when in fact the screen is about the same size as a normal one. The only difference is a digital projector (more and more theaters have those anyway) and "improved" audio. Hardly worth an extra $5.

AH...that's what they called it too! What a joke! I knew there had to be something behind it.

Well I enjoyed seeing it in the theater on the big screen but I expected a IMAX screen not a regular screen. I think an email to Fandango will be in order ;)
