I have been keeping a close watch on A.net as they are speculating on a 60th JetBlue station. I hear it is probably domestic. I thought I would bring the speculation to NYCAviation, as the new destination will be out of JFK.

Ready, set, GO!

I'd second that!!! hahaha Especially since AA pulled out of STL-JFK, all we have is two daily CRJ from Delta Connection!

STL could happen. B6 will have to enter that part of the country at some point. Two E190s a day would work well. WN facing off against AA on LGA-STL will drive down fares so now might not be a good time. Then again fares suck on most routes right now, so why not.

To everybody who knows I work for JetBlue (its obvious) I do not know where the 60th.city is. They usually dont tell us until the day of the press release or maybe the day before. Yes, we hear the same thing you all do and yes we have our hopes but sorry I do not know. Even if I did I would not post anything until after the press release.

Did you know there is a "message" feature on this site to use to message people? I use it. Im not talking to the wall though and not going to be talking to a wall.

On the topic of the bluecity, I have somewhat a prediction of what the city will be. Im not going to say..but some people on here may know what my prediction is.

Ah good move as A.net is such a valuable source of reliable insider information....

I know what your prediction is and you’re wrong. I know the real city but if I say I will jeopardize my inside contacts.

Very true... We have both knowledge of the next city because we are both among a valued group of important individuals who the company deems necessary to inform about information like this. Unfortunately, we just cannot speak about it publicly... yet.

1. You dont reserve the right to know my predictions..thats only for me to say..but it may not be true. Predictions arent always true.
2.I rather hear clues from jetBlue crewmembers and not some phonies.

But I know your prediction...that's what you don't understand. I also know the secret of T5 but I can't tell you.

So if a jetBlue lav cleaner told you they are going to start to fly to Cedar Rapids would that be a reliable clue? Or does that crew member have to be on the Executive Board? I just want to make sure I'm I know the scope of what a reliable clue is.

Why would they go to Cedar Rapids?..that aint a "popular destination"..lol. not to say it isnt. But, anythings possible.A Florida city is more likely though.

You didn't post your highly speculative guess? See now I'm hearing rumors from a ticket agent who works for AA in ABQ that he heard from his friend who works the lost bag office for CO in PDX that an FA he dated who worked for FlyI who spoke to a WN reservation agent working out of Dallas who booked a flight for someone living in W.I that jetBlue will operate 5 daily nonstops from JFK to Boise. I'm going with that.

How would you propose they take over Miami? Send in a platoon of tanks and out flank AA on the southside of Miami?

That would, IMHO, be a very stupid mistake by jetBlue. FLL is only 23 miles north of Miami and FLL is a major hub for jetBlue and there are excellent transport services to FLL. I honestly think there are far more deserving cities.

It's called supply and demand, fly where the people want to fly.

I think there are parts of South Florida that have more native New Yorkers than many parts of New York City.

Miami should be taken by JetBlue still, because Florida is "New Yorks 6th borough"..there are plenty of cities to Jet to.

A straight Pincer attack might allow jetBlue to overtake Miami and then on to Havana and victory!

You're right about low fares not being there yet..they took the wrong exit on I95 and ended up lost somewhere around Orlando. From what I understand they seem to like it there and won't leave. Why they like Orlando is beyond me..that damn mouse would drive me nuts in under 10 mins but they said they are staying.

Low fares are staying, they found a nice house for cheap moved right in next door to high fares.

Did you rethink your prediction yet? Its not correct. Once you understand how jetBlue can use their Panzer division to take over Miami you'll know which city other then your prediction is the one.

I don't know, I think jetblue187 may be onto something with Daytona Beach. I heard that JetBlue is actually in constant talks with DAB from a reliable source.
However, if it isn't DAB, my guess would still remain somewhere in Florida. Perhaps Pensacola?

I can't wait for them to get bought out by Delta and all those blue and white planes get painted with the widget.
