PBI Next Week

Hi everybody.

I originally posted this on A.net, but that board is pretty much useless these days, anyway I digress.

I'm going down to West Palm beach next week for spring break and on the off chance i get tired of the beach I may go out to PBI for an hour or two on a nice afternoon. I know some of the NYCA crowd has done some work down there and I was wondering where to go to spot. I read about an observation area on the south side amongst the GA hangars, where exactly is this spot?

On the south side of the airport on perimeter road, there is a public park - it's right next to General Dynamics. That is the best spot - if they are using 9L, you'll get great lift off shots. Also, GA traffic taxies right in front of you. Park is open sunrise to sunset - best time of day at the moment is from 2pm onwards and if it's anything like this week, the light is perfect!
