I just picked news that Mexicana Click is to pick up 25 717s most likely from Midwest to replace the 25 F-100s that are currently being used,

So Im guessing that Midwest will be returning the last 9 717s currently being operating and replace them probably with more E-jets

Lovely....Midwest will be an airline without planes...that until the E170s come online. That's if Midwest even lasts that long. The management at Midwest should be thrown into a running jet engine for what they did to the ppl at YX... Their arrogance and lies has resulted in 1000s of layoffs, another example of corporate greed at its worst.. If they took the AirTran offer last year you'd see a much stronger carrier with far fewer job losses.

There are 717 aircraft in the desert getting a suntan, so, those will probably be the aircraft that Mexicana gets first.

It takes time for a carrier to build up the infrastructure to handle 25 additional aircraft, especially a new aircraft to the fleet.
