Awesome shots!

Mind if I ask, what gear were you using?

Also love the last shot the AS "Proudly All Boeing" label... excellent..

777F = WOW. The reverser + gear closeup = extra WOW.

I feel teh same about the reverser/gear shot. REALLY nice. You should upload that.

I also really enjoy the first and last photos of the new Alaskan 737....so clean and perfect-looking.

Nobody gives you a hard time, up so close? I'm almost tempted to make a weekend out of this when the wx gets warmer....

No they generally don't. I remember when I flew out for my interview, I stepped off the plane and had some time to kill - so I was going to go to the parking garage to shoot. I asked a cop at the airport if it was OK and he said "Sure, why wouldn't it be?" He then radioed to everyone that I'd be up there so no one would bother me. Another time I parked along the perimeter fence near where the well-known bridge shots are taken. Security waved and drove on by. Another stopped briefly to check my story and then asked if he could see how my shots were coming out. Wasn't so lucky in the cargo area - but I think that's because it really isn't public property to be on...

Boeing Field people are super nice - I park right against the fence sideways (like I did for these shots) so I can stand on my car and shoot over it (I'm practically leaning over sometimes), and the Boeing and field security just wave at us.
Same with Renton, Paine, and Auburn. Though Boeing security can get antsy if you're nosing around too much in certain areas around Paine.

BFI is great shooting and variety, but it isn't the busiest place in the world. I got lucky with so many test flights in the same day on a weekend.

Are you going to upload that reverser shot?

I did upload that shot to jp.net (probably will turn it into a 12x18 for my wall too), along with almost all of the others from today. It's been in the queue since last night.
Did you have anywhere else in mind?

You should put that on airliners.net too.

I would, except for two things about a.net:
A) They always find some minuscule reason to reject my photos no matter how good they are and, more importantly to me,
B) I do not like their upload/photo usage policy one bit.

i love that shot of the 772LRF! simply beautiful. i also like the "Proudly All Boeing" sticker on the nose of the Alaska airplanes, though i wish they were a bit more creative in thier logo...
