To all my fellow members, I highly recommend a visit to the train show at at the Citigroup Center on Lex & 53 St. Sadly, this may be the final year as Citigroup is withdrawing sponsorship. The show has great dioramas and moving figures. The sets show all four seasons and end with the "North Pole". Best of all, the show is free. Try to avoid weekends when it is crowded (5000 guests a day). On weekends, you will get rushed past all the wonderful animations, so go on weekdays. Also, avoid visiting during Winter Recess for the kids. I've already visited 5 times! It's open daily except Christmas Day. It closes for good on Jan. 2. The Train Show at Grand Central terminal is also worthwhile plus they have a nice light show in the main terminal.
