Great Opportunity to help shape a new observation area!

Saw this on another site and thought it would be great for our nycaviaton membership to particpate. The Vancouver Airport Authority is planning on building an observation area at YVR along with it sounds like some interactive exibits.

What is very cool is they have posted an online questionnaire on their website, (below) please take 2 or 3 mins to answer as I have as this can easily add a few hundred more responses and show them the size of our hobby. Be sure to emphasize (if it is) your primary interest would be watching and photographing aircraft. Remember the larger number of responses the more likely the airport authority might be to share the interest our hobby showed in such a project with operators of other airports. We have until Dec 31 to take their survey.

I can imagine Vancouver becoming a spotter attraction on a scale larger than it is now if this all comes to fruition.

Great idea! If we can pool together and show our support for international objectives, perhaps our help will not go un-noticed and we will gather support for our own initiatives (ie. designated spotting areas at our own airports).
