Delta Air Lines can't figure out whether it should root for the Mets or the Yankees, so the carrier decided to sponsor both New York baseball teams.

The airline is set to announce today that it will become the "Official Airline of the New York Yankees." As part of a marketing deal, Delta will have a luxury suite behind home plate at the team's new Yankee Stadium, slated to open in the spring.

But last year, the Atlanta-based carrier signed a similar seven-year deal for a suite at Citi Field, the Mets' new park. Delta, whose sponsorship with the Mets dates back to the early 1990s, was already the official airline for the team.

In short, fans can be forgiven if they confuse the "Delta Sky360 Suite" at the new Yankee Stadium with the "Delta Sky360 Club" at Citi Field. [Full Article (http://www.nypost.com/seven/11242008/business/delta_hits_a_ny_double_140419.htm)]

The Yankees have been with Continental for years. I'm surprised at the change.
