Deutsche Post to cut 9,500 jobs from DHL unit in US and close express centers across America

FRANKFURT, Germany (AP) -- Deutsche Post AG will close all of its DHL Express service centers in the U.S., cut 9,500 jobs there and eliminate U.S.-only domestic express shipping by land and air, the company said Monday, citing heavy losses and fierce competition. Havent seen the DHL helicopter at FRG lately.
It was a daily visitor to EWR as well in the AM but now that I think of it your right. Its been a while.

I was told that someone just saw the ship at Arrow Aviation in Louisiana. Oh well, end of an era here.

I read today that they actually outsourced their domestic air service to UPS a couple months ago...maybe that's when the chopper was grounded.
