Anyone else play in the weather?

So today's episode of "Mike goes to work at Avantair" included nothing but watching rain and two arrivals, all day. This was mainly do to inclimate weather which included heavy rain, relatively low ceilings, severe wind sheer with moderate turbulence and my favorite part, an 80º crosswind at 20 knots gusting to 40. What better way to enjoy the 5 cumulative minutes of action at this small airport than to bust out the camera and a fuel truck and scout out some locations to shoot these crazy approaches? Here are my shots. Does anyone else play in the weather other than clear blue skies? Let's see it!

The Pilatus was at the Atlantic Terminal at FRG around 12:30 this afternoon.
Did a "ride-by" of FRG today but very quiet. Sat for a few minutes at the Sheltair terminal then headed over to my daughters
HS for the Homecoming Game. Pretty windy all day but rain held off until around 8 but since then it has been like a tropical storm
outside.

Those colours are brilliant and very dramatic.

Concorde was the same colour and wow she must have looked brilliant in weather like that especially on take off with full afterburners.
