I decided to camp out at JFK on Sunday to see what I could get rather than spending the day at SWF. While Sunday was not as exciting as previous years it was still worth the trip. I took a drive down to SWF this afternoon to shoot what was there:

Spanish Air Force A310
Royal Jet 737-700 (Benin)

An excellent afternoon for photographing and I even got a great surprise!

Wow. Bow down to you, man.

Amazing Tu-154 interior shots aside, I don't think anyone has ever gotten so many UN VIPs in one photo before.

Were these pictures taken on an "official" ramp tour or was it arranged via connections at SWF airport ? I remember seeing similar VIP traffic shots taken at this airport from 2007 airside...

I believe those were my pictures from last year as well. I have a connection at SWF.

Never mind, according to TAROM's posting on the other thread, most of the planes parked at SWF will be gone by the weekend.

MMm I wonder if all the flight crews stay at the same hotel? That could lead to some interesting conversations at Happy Hour. :lol:
Great shots. Always enjoyed hanging out up there. Nice mix of commercial and miltary aircraft and helos also.
