Thanks for the heads up Gordon. I can't make it today as I'm going to the Mets game tonight but will try to make it up there tommorow. Any idea where they will park it and if so is it better to go in the am or pm for lighting?

When I went up last year to SWF, I got my shots around 5 or 6PM. At that time, the light was that orangey sunset light, and everything was parked at an angle with the PM sun hitting it in the right spot for shots from the fence.

The plane is parked right behind the Atlantic Aviation building, with clear visibility from any road. If any of you want me to call if I see anything cool down there, drop me your cell phone numbers in private and I will let you know. I am glad I work at the airport and have a badge with all airport access. :-)

Just got back from the airport. The plane was apparently going to be moved over to Pacific aviation which is where N707JT parked and there is a parking lot which gives you a clear view of the jet. I know it will be there all day tomorrow but I'm not sure when it is scheduled to leave.

I'll be editing pics and putting them up in a little while.

Unfortunately the light was gone by the time the plane was done off loading and I was able to take pictures.
