View Full Version : Itek-Air 737-200 Crashes in Kyrgyzstan, Enroute to Iran

Shortly after takeoff from Manas Airport in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, one of Itek-Air's 737-200s went down with about 100 pax on-board.

There seems to be a debate on how many active 737-200s Itek Air has. I am pretty sure I've seen two. Here is a photo of one of them that I took of EX-311 while in Bishkek.

MOSCOW, Russia (AP) -- Russian news agencies report that a Boeing passenger jet has crashed while taking off in Kyrgyzstan's capital, Bishkek.

A U.S. official says 83 people were aboard the plane.

Not Good to see or hear at all! Aircraft was a Boeing 737-200.
