FAA Says Three People Aboard Plane

BOSTON -- Three people were killed Tuesday when the plane they were in crashed nose-first into a shopping plaza parking lot in Easton, Mass.

The Federal Aviation Administration said the plane was part of Angel Flight, a network of pilots who volunteer to run medical flights at no charge to the patients, WCVB-TV in Boston reported.

The crash happened at about 10:20 a.m. Tuesday at a shopping plaza near a grocery store. The plaza is located off Route 106. [Full Article (http://www.wnbc.com/news/17168334/detail.html)]

EASTON, Mass. (WABC) -- A small plane carrying a cancer patient, the patent's spouse and the pilot, crashed as it flew from Long Island to Boston.
The plane left West Hampton beach, on Long Island and was heading to Dana Farber Hospital in Boston, when it crashed in Easton at about 10:20.
A husband, wife, and pilot were killed.
Witnesses say the single engine plane went into a nose-dive near a grocery store and burst into flames.

Turns out two of the victims were from Riverhead...a guy who was flying to Boston for leukemia treatment and his wife. :(

The third was the pilot. The aircraft was a Beechcraft Bonanza.
