8/4 Whalejet banks over Hobe. With light.

Well after two of the most frustrating days trying to get a usable shot of the A380 it left this morning finally with some light hitting it, kind of happy since I didn't want to try to photoshop to death the shots from Friday. I was surprised only Eric showed up and we waited and sweated out the runway change and the fact he may have used 4L but to our relief it rolled 31L and we snapped away. Here are the quickos, enjoy.

Nick -- absolutely beautiful, I'm extremely envious! If there was one day I wish I could've been in NYC over the summer it would have been today...I'm afraid we wont be able to see such a sight again in the future unless EK makes a schedule change or there is a massive delay of the beast. Fantastic work, you should be proud.

couldn't be said any better if i tried myself. Fugly airplane, but amazing shots guys great work! Not to stray from the forum topic, but what lenses/focal lengths did you use for that bad boy? (Please forgive me if that question belongs in another forum).

Awesome shots Nic! Were you present during the inaugural flight last Friday as well? I managed to take some good shots from the Emirates lounge of the water canon salute, as well as the interiors.
