CBS News' campaign blog has a short piece about Sen. Obama's new ride and a few (thumbnail size ) photos. Includes a comparison to McCain's "Straight Talk Express" 737.

Wow, Obama´s ride sounds and looks SWEET ! As for Senator McCains 737 as I mentioned in another thread it is ex US, and I was just on one of our oldest 734´s the other day from CLT to MIA and it was about 15 mins after takeoff before the cabin of the olde girl started to cool down, Sen Obama sure got the better ride !

Cheers

Looks really nice inside - North American did a great job on it :borat:

When he announces his VP, how long would it take to get his/her name on it? Do they paint it on or it is just a decal?

My own personal opinion is that his VP's name will not be added. In fact, his VP will probably have his/her own plane.

The VP will have his or her own, but the branding and the logo of the campaign is very important. There's the big white space on the aft part of the fuselage for the logotyping; as there is on the front of the McCain jet.

In 2000, Bush-Cheney used the same NAA A/C. I think Obama-TBA will do the same

Anyone see if they put their Obama/Biden sticker on it yet??
