So while the adrenaline is still pumping in my blood....I'm sitting in my living room about 30 mins ago and I see these kids about 15/16 years old I’d guess walking across my lawn..So I'm like WTF??? I get up open my front door and there's a freaking 7/11 Hot Dog with Chili crushed on my front steps. So I'm like those little...you know the rest.

I run outside with no shoes, they see me...they run...I give chase...they split up...bad move as your stronger as a group. The weaker one is the slowest that I catch on the next street over. He's all nervous so I ask him why he did that. Of course he's like "it wasn't me it was the other kid." I say well where do they live? He said he didn't know so I told him "Ok well you are guilty by association you can be charged with the vandalizing my house" as I proceed to call my buddy who's SCPD just to give him a bit of a scare. So of course he starts naming names and goes to call them. They hang up on him; I get their numbers to ensure I catch them. He calls them back and they pick up and they ask if I was pissed...the common sense of today's youth is astonishing.....

So this guy is telling them to go back or he's going to get locked up. So they go back to my house all apologetic and clean it up. Now this is how I know I'm getting old, I didn't scream (yes Phil you would have been proud, I mean they are basically kids no sense in yelling better to earn their respect then to temp them to come back and try again.) I give them a speech on how it isn't cool to vandalize your own town and your own people but then change the subject to where they go to school and what sports they play and how their school did this season just so they don't get totally freaked out and that they go away learning a lesson about respect to their neighborhood.

Now if they were 18 or older I would have just beat the living piss out of the one I caught, LOL

IT WAS ME AND MY FRIENDS. I GOT AWAY, SUCKA. haha

But seriously, I'd be angry, too, of course. Awesome how it all turned out though. Next thing you know, you'll be yelling to the kids "Next time your ball comes in my yard, I'm keepin it!"

Hopefully they learned their lesson. They might never forget that.

I've got images of a wily red headed shoeless italian running down the street.

Tom is officially older than me!

I would have done worse. In fact, I have done worse. Glad you talked to them, too, instead of just making them poop their pants.

You can't sterotype like that.

Not all teens are like this. The majority actually chooses to stay in school, and do extracurriculars to stay off the street.

The title of the thread is satire.... I spoke to all of them, they are all in school and play sports. They justed needed a lesson in respect.

I'll assume that's sarcasm, as I'm not quite as intimidating as I might have been at one point. I do, however, tend to be very aggressive when "unhappy".

I hate it when the kids down the block play basketball and end up sitting on top of (and scratching up) my car

Teens nowadays!
