While in the Capital Region for the holiday weekend, I caught a nice visitor, Daimler Chrysler Aviation's A319CJ.
Unfortunately this was the best shot I could get due to it's parking location...and that's not heat haze, it the paint job on aircraft (Jaggie alert!). Dan Evans, the local ALB spotter, said it has been a frequent visitor for the last few weeks.
Go get it Senga!

I shot it a few weeks ago at EWR. That is true..That aircraft has to be the most difficult aircraft to shoot. The only way you won't have a problem is if you are right up on the aircraft.

I have been past ALB but never shot at the airport before.

Nice catch John. However that's heat haze not jaggies.

It was nice seeing you for a few moments John. I'm impressed that your shot came out as good as it did considering how far away you had to shoot that from!

I have yet to catch that one in the air. I only see it on flightaware while I'm at work :-(

From where it is parked, the only other option would be to go into economy lot E and shoot through the fence. I think that would very much be a 'shoot-n-run' situation.

Dan, it was good seeing you as well, sorry you couldnt stay longer, but I understood.
Kids get restless sometimes. Saturday I also caught the US Army C12F. Sunday morning was a lot better, I got the US E190, the Georgian B1900 in new AC colors, and I caught the Colgan Dash 8-400 both days. I'll post shots in a seperate thread in a few days after the editing is done.
