Second day in Montreal. Weather was worst than during my first day. Sunset shots taken from my hotel room :)

Really nice, Rafal - are those Alpha Jets privately owned? I don't remember the RCAF flying them, and it looks like at least the first has a civilian tail number. Very interesting.

The second one does too, it's just in black. What on earth is hanging out of that plane?!

Thanks, now I see it. Not sure what you mean, but both have external fuel tanks under the wings, and speed brakes deployed on the top of the aft fuselage.

I don't know anything about military birds so I can't answer your questions :) If you are asking about that hanging part on that green Challenger that is RAT. Ram Air Turbine is deployed when aircraft loses power and they need to generate minimum amout to keep the radio and light going.
You can read about it in wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ram_air_turbine

Nice shots.
I must say that 757 realy looks nice in Zoom colors.
Hope you went to the Quebec show, that same plane in the 7th shot came by Quebec after the Blue's preformance.

What hotel did you stay in Rafal? When I go to Montreal I stay at the Montreal Airport Hilton, great views of the field.

C-GQBQ is the Quebec Government's Challenger, fixed callsign QUE20. Its primary mission is Medevac from remote areas (which is pretty much anything north of the St. Lawrence or east of Quebec City), but can also be used for VIP transport.
