I'll probably head out tomorrow morning, JFK vs. LGA will be a gametime decision.

We'll see how the WX is and the runways are. If it looks good I might take a drive out.

With the amount of spotting I plan on doing this coming week with the airshow, I have to get the house in order tomorrow. 7 days 'til the Airshow!

I'd very much like to do some spotting tomorrow, but I'm not at all optimistic about the weather...

Yeah, it was beautiful when I got up...but instead of going to HoBe, I spent my time looking on the internet for a lens to use there :P

Well I shot quick. My sensor needs cleaning BAD so I didn't go crazy on the edits. While I was there I met John Toomey (http://www.airliners.net/search/photo.search?photographersearch=John%20Toomey%20-%20Photovation%20Images&distinct_entry=true). Nice guy with vast knowledge of the hobby past and present. Some of the stories he shared with me would make the hair of anybody reading the spotter blotter curl. I hope to run into him again sometime.

What's with the boats? I know it's an active channel, but I thought you couldn't "hang around" that close to the airport. I see guys docked there fishing, have the restrictions changed?

Wow, I love that NAA shot! Would you be able to send or post a wallpaper-size version?

Nice shots, Kenny! Looks like you made good use of the brief bit of good weather this morning. I've run into John Toomey a few times - a really nice guy with some amazing photos! And John, I think with those boats, as long as you are outside the signs (and you know, don't have a camera  ) no one will bother you.

Kenny, the Cathay shot with the boats is great, as well as the Saudi Cargo. I would really be into getting a shot of that someday. Sorry I could not make it out today, but I will be out soon. Later, Brian
