My first time ever at KMIA - and - I have to say I loved it! I spent the morning at the "holes". I thought for a Saturday, it would be a little quiet...but..that wasn't the case. My highlights of the day - Alitalia Cargo MD-11 and an American B777 that landed on runway 13 right in front of me....Cayman Air B733, TAM A330. Apart from those - B738's, B752's and ERJ's everywhere..I saw US Airways Nevada scheme in the distance when it landed on 9R (that happened as soon as I got these) - I waited for it for the rest of the morning and unless it went out on 9R again, I didn't see it. Another nice spot was the Con-Air B733 that was loading a lot of convicts to go off somewhere....

Spent the afternoon at KFLL - the usual stuff there, but some nice non-regulars - Southwest's 2000th B737NG, two US Airways Express E170's one in old colors on in new...

Pictures are in edit at the moment...will get them up later...

Mark, I am glad you finally got to shoot at MIA. One of my favorite airports anywhere, ever since my first visit in 1968. Very few airports in the world offer the mix of traffic it offers, I know back in the earlly 90's, it boasted the claim of having "More airlines serving it than any other airport in the world" !

I hope this was the first of many happy days alongside MIA's runways.

Cheers

Our expertise also extends to real estate, rail and equipment transactions of all types. We administer more than 5,000 trust accounts worldwide with more than $180 billion in assets.
