Nassau PD Medevac Mission

After taking care of some business this morning, I went up to Oyster Bay, grabbed some lunch and parked over at Teddy Roosevelt Part/Beach. After a while, heard sirens, and saw an NCPD helicopter circling overhead. Was going to grab a quick shot of it, when I realized they were getting ready to land in the adjacent LIRR parking lot, so I headed on over. Turned out to be Nassau's newest Bell 407 landing for a Medevac pickup.

My initial response was "*** Newsday" (I'm sure many of you will know why :wink: ) But you're right - I sent them along, let's see if anything comes of it.
