That's news to me. They just resumed DEN service maybe three years ago and not it is a focus city?

A Focus city in terms of focusing on DEN, along with other major cities. I don't think it means focus city as in under hub status type.

DEN has been the largest and fastest growing market in history for Southwest Airlines and has been extremely succesful and profitable for the company.

With F9 and UA hurting, DEN is a great market for SW to operate strategic money-making routes. I would not be surprised to see a handful more cities pop up out of DEN in the near future.
