Early L1011 Retirement?

I was looking through pics of Eastern Airline and noticed that this L10 was retired in 1985. She was delivered in 72 but isn't that rather early for an L10 to be retired?

That does sound like a very short life for a great airliner. I flew several times on EA L-1011's in the 70's and they where really nice birds.
