Until recently, the west end of the aerial photograph for the west end of ABE has been very low-res. It was updated not too long ago and I can see now there's a cemetery at the end of 24-6, with an unobstructed view of the runway. So the question is, would it be immoral to spend an hour or so spotting there? I mean, I wouldn't go there if there was a funeral going on, but it seems like a good idea. What are your guy's thoughts on it?

The usual caveats about private property would apply, but as far as the morals of being in a cemetery, that's just up to your own personal values system.

In my pass experiences I find them to be pleasant shooting locations. They are quiet, picturesque, open and the locals never bother you. You can read the tombstones when you are waiting for your next shot to arrive.

It all depends on how you feel about graveyards and death and whatnot...personally, I don't think spotting in a graveyard is any worse than putting a graveyard in an approach path to start with... :)

I don't see anything wrong with it at all. Say a couple of Hail Mary's before you spot and the big boy upstairs will be cool with it. The only problem I foresee is if it is private property you may be asked to leave.
