He's resigning to go back to his former career...writing books. Hell with the games Skybus played he has material for a few interesting novels.

That sounds like a good, build up a nice little airline, make a few bucks, then bounce before it sinks.

Hodge, the new CEO, joined Skybus in March 2007. He had been a managing director and airline-industry analyst at Tiger Management, a hedge fund that helped provide startup funding for Skybus. He holds degrees from Princeton and Harvard universities.

when are people going to learn that degrees are no substitute for real world knowledge? too many salesmen around these days...

Skybus' VP of Ops quit today, saying he felt "out of step" with some of the issues affecting day-to-day operations. Given the circus that is their operation, I'm not sure truer words have ever been spoken by an executive.

Hopefully Skyjoke, oops I mean Skybus can stay in business a couple of more weeks, so I can get to their CMH hub for some photos
