(AEU666)FLYSTAR SIX SIX SIX!!!!!
Is there an excorsist in the house?
Gotta love it!
The clouds cleared just in time at the Iron Maiden was landing. This has to be one fo the best looking 757s I have seen. Fontier should use their tail logo after their tour is done!
I have ALWAYS been a big fan of their artwork.

h2opunk1822,
EWR is actually a giant void of nothingness. Its a Black Hole full of nothing but dispair and lost dreams of things thing that never were. Once you step inside you become one with it. You disapear forever-you were never born. You can see everything from the inside out but never the other way.

It was parked at UPS which is very tuff to see from off the airport. They might tow it to one of the hardstands for space and I'll take a look tommorow and let you know. I agree with Senga, this scheme is kick ass. Barry, I'm glad you liked it.

Amazing shots. Both of you. You're ramp access is due to the ATC status correct? Mind sneaking me in?

Hey Bill,

I saw a few of their shows when they were in town years ago at Hammerstein.

They tried so hard to really rock out, but it just wasn't working. Too old and slow....almost sad looking.

One of the nights, some genius spilled a beer on the soundboard...ending the concert and hour early. The singer had to beg the crowd to not riot....I don't think they would have....if he didn't give them the idea.

Well, it wasn't that bad.

Whne I shot the aircraft I wasn't aware that the lead singer was flying the plane. I remember syaing to myself when I heard him on apprch, twr, gnd.. "Man this dude sounds really "evil" whats up with his voice. Maybe he was doing it for effect.

They announced tonight they are adding more shows in the NYC area in June, PNC Bank Arts Center(its NJ) on 6/14, MSG 6/15, and in Camden on 6/17. So if you missed it this time, you might have a second chance. But its likely they will fly into EWR again I would think.

Very nice shots Bill and Senga.

Turns out "Ed Force One" was here the day I arrived into Santiago, Chile! I believe it arrived earlier in the day on the 8th and must have left early on the 10th. I saw a lot of people walking around on the night of the 9th with Iron Maiden t-shirts but thought nothing of a concert, I didn't realize Santiago was on the tour list!

EWR is the most centrally located for those shows, but an appearance at LGA would be nice.

Sort of. Started off with a glass of Cabernet and then I was memerized by an image of a kitty in a foil horned hat staring me down. I was trippin, man!

Senga, I love hearing that feedback about how he sounded on landing.

You know, I've never cared for heavy metal but then again I can't honestly say I have ever listened (knowingly) to Iron Maiden. Gotta hear it. :borat:

Is the plane still at EWR or based there for the week?
