So the weather forecast is looking pretty good this Sunday...not quite as cloudless as last Sunday, but a bit warmer and similar winds. Anyone up for a repeat performance? I hopefully won't get rudely interrupted by a trip to NJ in the middle of the day this time :)

(Just kidding...the trip to NJ was quite worthwhile, even though I missed Habitat...)

No! It means Pink Delta will come in, and my shots will all have some horrible exposure problem! (I think that's the only thing that hasn't gone wrong yet...) And it isn't so buggy at this time of year, so maybe you'll be pointing your camera in the right direction :)

I'm jealous of the DHL catch, of all things ... I've only ever seen the tail of the DHL planes parked, never caught them coming or going. DHL and UPS are on my list to catch, but I've never had any luck. Haven't caught FedEx in a while, either, come to think of it.

Thanks for the compliments.

Kenny, that what I was thinking when I saw the Abercrombie & Kent bird posted. Saw it land but.....
I thought I went unscathed by staying at HoBe especially when the Virgin jet was an A340 instead of the 744.
BTW, I used the little helper (1.4x extender) on the 400mm for the Air India 777 and Lufthansa A340. The light was already toast for the bank over the bridges. I was praying that I had them in focus.

Also, the Atlas Air 742 that landed on 31L was missing a HUGE amount of paint on the left side just aft of the wing. At first it looked a special scheme until it turned off the runway.

Adam, both lenses are extremely sharp. Enjoy !
