Photoshop Help

So I am having this problem in CS2 and CS3. I can't open pictures. I can't even make new images. I can't for the life of me think what is wrong. Any suggestions?

corrupt program. Uninstall, run a registry cleaner then reinstall.

ccleaner (ccleaner.com) is free and good for cleaning up junk files.
