Hey Phil- How long til NAA starts putting winglets on their 757's & 767's? Now that will look sweet!

It's probably not going to happen any time soon. As I understand, in the charter business, most of your fuel costs are covered by the clients, so it can be difficult to justify and recover the costs involved with installing them.

Of course, I'd LOVE to have them on ours.

Phil, if winglets lower NAA's fuel cost then couldn't NAA lower it's charter prices slightly becoming more competive and perhaps gaining new or more charter business ?

My 2 cents

I don't think the charter airlines choose the prices for the military charters, so I don't think we can lower our prices. I could be wrong, this is just what I've gathered.

From that pic I'm imagining that it's a former AeroMexico craft that is joining the Eos fleet from the lessor with winglets, as opposed to them installing them on the aircraft they have already in operation...Or are they doing the whole fleet?

Hey, if you guys want to get some shots with winglets... almost every day for the past few weeks there have been different delta new color 757's sitting at the delta hangar right across from the evergreen terminal. Its en easy shot, right off the van wyck exit ramp.
