What's with the L-1011-style #2 engine on the 727? I've never seen that. Looks gorgeous!

Re-engined with RR Tay engines.
Un-usual visitors, the 2 Japan 744 belong to the Japan Air Self-Defence Force.

The two Japan 747s are simply awesome! I love the simple look of them, very Asian!

That is the Tay conversion of which UPS was a HUGE customer when it first came out. An intresting note is along with that there is an option which puts a good bit of glass on the panels but does not remove the F/E from the equation. Fred might have more knowladge than I on the subject though.
