A few Gate Gaurds from Pope Air Force Base and the Eigth Air Force Museum in Savanna. Glad to get a USAF Casa 235 based at Pope AFB, NC. This is a new operator for me. They had a White one as well but it wasnt shootable. Not much else was worth shooting at POB other than that. C-130s only.
The B-47 was shot from I-95 in Savanna, GA

Excellent coverage, Senga. I was at Pope I think 3 times last year...but all at night...didn't get to see or enjoy it much.

Great stuff.

Thanks,
My first stop over to POB was a little more rewarding. Bases like that are usually dead unless you are ther at the right time.

That F-27 and DC-9 are amazing!

That's the thing about military bases. They are generally very boring...but all it takes is for one aircraft like a C-40 to make it all worth it.
