So I noticed something today that is a no no when it comes to the U.S Flag and Skybus's planes....The zipper heads painted the U.S Flag on incorrect. They have the flag on there in a retreating motion rather then backward as if it was moving forward into the wind like all other U.S Airlines have it... This is one classless airline...

Take a look. The flag should be painted on backward not like this. Backward represents the U.S Flag moving forward and not retreating!

Better yet, hit them where it hurts. Spread word and start a boycott.

I doubt any of us will be flying SkyBus, so I guess the boycott already started.

I like the waving, but the retreating is not cool at all...

This is NOT a skybus thing. The plane came from Virgin America and it is their doing, not skybus.

If you look at the skybus planes they actually have their planes painted the correct way. So blast Virgin America, not Skybus!

A skybus plane WITH the correct format.

They put fresh paint on it, so it wouldn't be VA.

Slightly off-topic, but has anyone noticed that VA doesn't have a flag on the side at all? I am looking through the pics and don't see them... I thought that was required.

It's on the winglet.

And as to this Skybus "controversy", I've seen pictures of a couple of their aircraft, and the flag is correct. I think it was just someone put the wrong flag on the side of this one, and didn't catch it when it went out. It's not the first time I've seen it happen, and I'm sure it won't be the last.

Wait, it can count being on the winglet? That is funky!

I didn't think the flag was required unless the plane was flying out of the US which neither Virgin or Skybus do...
