So, today at exactly 11:09 AM EST your very own Matt Thaler passed his driving test (with a 100% score I might add ;))
Even though i'm in Michigan, I would avoid driving anywhere in North America, you never know where I will be ;)

Congratulations.
Now remember the responsibilty of driving. In the past two weeks two boys my youngest son knew were killed
in car crashes. One the other night who just had a learners permit and his friend let him drive. He wanted to see
how it felt to go over 100MPH.
Stay safe.

Thanks everyone,
It seems like you guys do it differently out there, but just to clarify, I have already had my learners permit for about 2 years that allowed me to drive with any adult over 21, now I have my full license that allows me to drive alone.
Just clarifying.

Just mentioning the word "Mario" will cause your insurance rate to go up 10% & a loss of 2 points on your license

How the heck does my driving pop up here?
.....Over 10 years on the road, only 2 accidents, one involving a light pole at age 17 (that pole just ran out in front of me, I swear) no other motorists but with a lasting scar on my forehead. And one a year ago, I was rear ended (looking back and with no injuries, its was pretty funny to think about.)
And I only got 3 speeding tickets since ... 1997. (one was doing 40 in a 25mph. You have to be kidding me. It was entrapment!)
I love to accelerate not speed. Besides, my car has a subtle rattle between 88-102 MPH, then smooths out, so I try to keep it under 65 )
As such, Matt, be careful. its not you, its the other most inconsidertae drivers that you really have to watch out for. Take a defensive driving course. We do so every 3 years. Bottom line is learn to anticipate. View every single driver out there as having taken drivers ed in HAITI and assume they are blind.
 be careful
