I don't understand what's so offensive about a noose. Sure it can remind people of bad and violent times, but how is that any differnet from a gun or a needle?

Who are the people that cry out about this stuff?

Though I feel GW should have let this die like it was in the process of I don't feel the cover warranted a man losing his job. It's getting scary in this country where just because a man like Al Sharpton shoots off his mouth people will run and hide and cause people to lose a job. Funny seeing he is guilty of it as well. I feel an apology and changing the cover would have been enough.

I don't think the two compare. One was a terror attack that killed thousands, one is something that was used to execute people both good and bad (subjective).

I assume you are offended by a noose?

It seems that everyone these days is equating nooses with lynching but back in the old west people were hung
for a number of offenses especially cattle rustling or stealing a mans horse. Throw a noose over a tree and hang
the offender on the spot. Frontier justice!!
