I have always been a Terragen user, and over time, I've created an album of Terragen renders. I've taken it a step deeper now, and started using Terragen2. It's a bit more complicated, but the possibilities are even more expansive now. The shaders took a lot of time to tweak, and they improved somewhat, but it seems that there's still room for improvement there. But overall, I'm quite satisfied with the result.
The final render was uploaded in .bmp format so those of you wishing to use it as your background can have a high-quality version. And obviously, feel free to use it as your desktop background.
The total render time was 0:59:13 and it contains 1,278,805 micro-triangles.
Enjoy!
