Hmmm? I don't have a 60 inch TV.......

Some residents, like activist Sharon Jasper, claim their taxpayer-funded homes are dumps.

“I’m tired of the slum landlords, and I’m tired of the slum houses,” she said.

Pointing across the street to an encampment of homeless people at Duncan Plaza, Jasper said, “I might do better out here with one of these tents.”

Jasper, who later allowed a photographer to tour the subsidized apartment, also complained about missing window screens, a slow leak in a sink, a warped back door and a few other details of a residence that otherwise appeared to have been recently renovated.

Sharon Jasper sits in the living room of her voucher-backed private residence. “I might be poor but I don’t like to live poor. I thank God for a place to live but it’s pitiful what people give you.”

Seriously, what the hell. A lot of people are a lot worse off than her, especially people who actually buy their own houses. A freakin 60 inch flat screen TV and shes complaining!

Worse thing is she is complaining, and HER HOUSE WAS FREE! What do you expect, a 8,000 square foot home? These people piss me off....

Rant over..

Just freeking grand. That lady needs to be tossed out of the program all together. Poor pitiful you, you make poor decisions and we pay for you to live in a house while the rest of us can bust our asses to live.

It's also sad when you see a woman with a few poorly dressed kids tagging along, paying for groceries with food stamps....and then going outside and piling into a Lincoln Navigator. Amazing parental skills.

I could express how I feel about this, but I'm too tired to expend that much energy, and I might get banned for using such language by the time I'm through.

I've witnessed a lady walk up to the register with her baby and get $18 worth of food and $10 worth of cigarettes. Mind you she only had $20 in food stamps. Who can guess what she threw out, yep, the baby food.

You can't use food stamps for cigarettes... :?:
