A passenger in a car that crashed in Los Angeles was apparently missed by police and paramedics at the scene, who removed the driver from the car and then towed it to a lot. When cops were told there was a second person missing they called the tow lot, where a dead woman was found in the car enveloped by an airbag. An autopsy will determine if the woman died at the scene or if she could have been saved.

In a similarly scary story out of San Antonio, a car accident victim was declared dead at the scene, when two hours later the medical examiner discovered she was actually alive. She was rushed to a hospital in critical condition.
